While we’ll take care of cleansing your skin during your facial, it's helpful to avoid wearing makeup when you come in for your treatment. Try to avoid heavy makeup or skincare products on the day of your appointment, especially those with oils, as this can interfere with the treatment. The goal is to allow your skin to breathe and be free of any barriers so that the products we apply can penetrate effectively.
2. Avoid Sun Exposure
If possible, avoid excessive sun exposure in the 24 to 48 hours leading up to your facial. Sunburned or irritated skin can affect the way your skin reacts to certain treatments, so it’s best to protect your skin with SPF before your facial. If you’ve recently had a lot of sun exposure, please let us know before your facial so we can adjust the treatment accordingly.
